                       <\/li>\n\t                                        <li>\n                            Who will finance the collection and disposal of sold tires after their use?                        <\/li>\n\t                                        <li>\n                            Which tire waste collector will handle End-of-Life tires for free? Under the principle of producer responsibility, manufacturers and importers are responsible for: the environmental impact of the products they supply to the domestic market throughout their entire life cycle from production to safe waste management, including the organisation and\/or financing of the collection, transport, recycling, recovery and disposal system, the implementation of the established waste management tasks for products, the provision of information about products, packaging and their waste management to users and waste managers of these products, the acceptance, management and financial responsibility for products placed on market and waste generated after their use.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"service-block__video\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<video autoplay muted loop>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<source src=\"https:\/\/pio.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/PIO_Logo_LT.mp4\" type=\"video\/mp4\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJ\u016bs\u0173 nar\u0161ykl\u0117 nepalaiko vaizdo \u012fra\u0161\u0173 \u017eymos.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/video>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"service-block__title-block\">Manufacturers and importers must:<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"services-list\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tRegister in Unified Product, Packaging and Waste Record Keeping Information System ( GPAIS &#8211; www.gpais.eu )\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tOrganize product and packaging waste management\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSign agreements on tire waste management with all municipalities or Regional Waste Management Centres for partial financing of bulk waste collection sites and organisation of waste (tire) collection and treatment.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTo educate and inform the public on waste management issues in accordance with the procedure established by the Minister of the Environment\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTo pay for the costs of waste management of taxable products (tires), public education and information on waste management issues\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMaintain records of products placed on the market and submitting reports (in the case of taxable products, also declarations of environmental pollution tax)\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"service-block__bottom-text\"><p><strong>Producers and importers<br \/>\nmay fulfil the established obligations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Collectively \u2013 by establishing an organisation of producers and importers specified in the Law on Waste Management (in the case of packaging \u2013 in the Law on the Management of Packaging and Packaging Waste) and (or) by becoming participants in such an organisation and entrusting it with organising the management of product and packaging waste and fulfilling other obligations established in the aforementioned laws (except for the obligation to register and keep records) or by entrusting an organisation on a contractual basis with organising the management of product and packaging waste and fulfilling other obligations established in the aforementioned laws (except for the obligation to register and keep records) without becoming participants in the organisation.<\/li>\n<li>Application of the product pollution tax payment. Payment of the tax does not exempt the manufacturer and\/or importer from performing all other obligations and tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t                <div class=\"service-block__footer-text\"><p>Since 2018-01-01, manufacturers and importers have been registering in the Register of Manufacturers and Importers using the Unified Information System for Products, Packaging and Waste (GPAIS).
